Refuse and Recycling

When it comes to refuse and recycling facilities, the role of an experienced industrial contractor is critical to the overall project success, including long-term usability of the space. Ensuring that your project has the right industrial contractor with the appropriate level of experience will provide value, both during the project delivery and in the finished facility. Processing garbage and recyclable material can vary significantly from facility to facility. Local environmental and jurisdictional criteria can require specific solutions to address a range of issues from recycling levels, processing goals such as air and traffic quality. Because of this, it is imperative to work with a contractor who has the knowledge, experience, and an understanding of these elements as well as the construction space.

Bi-Fold Roof

This past year, the Facility Builders & Erectors, Inc. crew made significant headway on a fun and innovative commercial project in the Los Angeles area. The team did a masterful job working with the architect team and successfully interpreting their vision to become this next generation of building design.

One of the elements that makes this particular project an exceptionally distinct design are the multitude of bi-fold and roll-up doors found around the entirety of the building. Even more unique, this structure features two full sets of bi-fold roof doors. These roof openings will not only let light in on sunny days but will also function like a fully insulated roof when closed during a rare Southern California cold spell.

Prefabricated Metal Buildings

Prefabricated metal buildings have been around for decades. They are a unique combination of durability and architectural finishes. Today's generation of metal buildings are structurally the same as previous generations; however, the architectural options and the aesthetics have greatly expanded. As energy efficiency and "green" building solutions become more important, steel buildings are becoming a more sensible solution.

Pre fabricated metal buildings, also known as building systems, steel buildings, and pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) are all engineered, designed and fabricated in a controlled manufacturing environment and then shipped to the job site for assembly or erection.

Identifying a prefabricated metal building company is important, but it is equally as important to identify an organization who will insure it's accurate fabrication, delivery and erection.
